This position reports to:

Planning & Fulfillment Specialist

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: On Site.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in México.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Support the sourcing and selection of suppliers by evaluating quotations based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.
Create purchase orders and monitor their status to ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and keep supplier information up to date.
Assist in vendor negotiations regarding pricing, terms, and conditions.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse and planning teams to ensure supply continuity.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Address and resolve issues related to delivery delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

You enjoy working with planning materials and the electrical market.
You have basic knowledge on supply chain.
You are passionate about demand fluctation, forecasting, supply chain.
Active students from last 3 semesters from careers like International Business, Industrial Engineering or any Engineering field.
