About the Role
We are seeking an Automation Engineer to support infrastructure automation across AWS cloud and hybrid environments. This role focuses on improving deployment workflows, maintaining automation processes, and supporting production systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform and AnsibleSupport configuration management and deployment processesAssist in managing AWS cloud and on-premise environmentsWrite clean, maintainable code following object-oriented principlesWork with REST APIs and JSON for integrationsCollaborate with cross-functional technical teams to improve operational processesManage repositories and CI/CD workflows using GitHubProvide support for Linux and Windows environments
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience3+ years of software engineering experience, not just scripting3+ years of hands-on coding in Python, Java, or C++ with strong OOP fundamentals2+ years of deep automation experience using Ansible (strongly preferred), Puppet, Chef, or similarStrong infrastructure engineering background supporting production systems2+ years supporting Linux and Windows environmentsProven experience automating AWS infrastructure (hybrid cloud experience required)Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitHub, and GitHub ActionsStrong experience working with REST APIs and JSON
