Security Supervisor

The Security Supervisor assigned to a specific client, will be responsible for developing all security programs, personnel, contractors, and consultants. The supervisor will be responsible for the strategic identification of security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities as well as the prevention and protection of the client’s employees, assets, property, product, and brand reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Lead security risk assessments (Security 360°) implementation in the assigned sites.
- Investigate suspicious activity; both inside and outside of the buildings.
- Be the point of contact for law enforcement, fire or medical personnel.
- Provide oversight for the selection, orientation, development, and retention of high caliber staff.
- Plan and direct the work of staff as well as on-going performance feedback and disciplinary actions, as necessary.
- Manage appropriate staffing levels, in collaboration with management, as necessary.
- Screen visitors, vendors, and client employees in an efficient manner in order to expedite their admittance to the site or facility.
- Ensure every interaction (including first-time visitors and returning long-term client employees) receive exceptional customer service through warm greetings, suitable recommendations, and improvised solutions if needed.
- Enforce safety and security policies/procedures.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
College degree or five years of experience in security or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.- Concierge-level customer service experience.
- Security training experience.
- Bilingual skills; English and Spanish.
- Able to follow operation plans and manage trip requirements.
- Good judgment and decision-making ability during stressful or emergency situations.
- Able to work with little supervision with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Customer focused and attentive to detail.
- Computer skills; Microsoft Office.
- Serve as a positive team leader.
Working Conditions:
