Java (L3 Support) Engineer - REMOTE

We are looking for an experienced Java L3 Support/Developer Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert-level support for production systems, resolving complex technical issues, and driving improvements in the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

This role involves a mix of Java development, system support, release management, and database troubleshooting in a dynamic environment.

You will be accountable for the end-to-end SDLC, from development to testing, release, and maintenance. You must have hands-on experience with Unix, Sybase, Java development frameworks (Spring, SpringBoot, Microservices), GIT, and SQL. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of production issues and continuous improvement of our software and processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development and L3 production support.
  • 3+ years of experience in Sybase or similar database management.
  • Solid experience with Unix-based operating systems (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
  • Proven track record in managing end-to-end SDLC and release management.

  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native development practices.
