Amazon's Vendor Services team is seeking a forward-thinking Product Manager who will play a crucial role in our transformation journey towards automated vendor management solutions. As we move into an era where Gen-AI and automation will revolutionize 80% of our reactive and operational tasks by 2028, we need a leader who can help shape the future of vendor relationships through innovative technology solutions.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing next-generation vendor management tools that enhance our service delivery model, working closely with our Business Intelligence Engineers, Brand Specialists, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Your role will be instrumental in evolving our vendor management approach from task-based operations to automated, proactive solutions that can automatically resolve defects and share growth recommendations.

Key job responsibilities
  • Lead the development of Gen-AI powered solutions that automate vendor management tasks while maintaining high service quality standards.
  • Design and implement tools that enable proactive vendor growth recommendations and automatic defect resolution.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence teams to create data-driven decision-making frameworks that support our transformation from manual to automated operations.
  • Develop and execute product strategies that enhance the efficiency of both local and remote Brand Specialist teams.
  • Create scalable solutions that support our evolving service delivery model, focusing on specialized POD team requirements and cross-functional integration.

A day in the life

As a Product Manager in Vendor Services, you will start your day analyzing vendor management metrics and automation opportunities across our global platforms. You might spend your morning collaborating with our AI/ML teams to improve automated defect resolution capabilities, followed by strategic planning sessions with Brand Specialists to understand evolving vendor needs.

Throughout the day, you will work on designing solutions that support our specialized POD teams, ensuring our technology stack enables both operational efficiency and strategic growth initiatives. You will partner with cross-functional teams to validate automation effectiveness, gather feedback on tool adoption, and iterate on features that enhance our vendor management capabilities.

Your role is central to our transformation from traditional vendor management to an AI-powered, proactive service model.
