Responsibilities
The Opportunity
As a Replenishment Planner for LATAM, your role is to review and validate the product distribution plans to ensure the right products are sent to the right places at the right time. You'll work to keep inventory levels healthy across PepsiCo’s owned locations, making sure we meet sales and market needs without overstocking or running out of product.
Your Impact
As a Replenishment Planner, your main responsibilities include:
- Ensure product availability remains above 95% at each site.
- Keep inventory levels balanced to avoid both shortages and excess.
- Review and approve product movement plans between warehouses (what, when, how much, from where to where).
- Create daily and weekly planning reports to track performance and flag issues.
- Handle exceptions and adjust plans when needed.
- Lead a small data team to make sure planning system settings are correct and up to date.
- Identify and fix gaps in supply or planning processes quickly.
- Suggest extra shipments when needed to keep inventory at ideal levels.
- Work closely with sales and other planning teams to stay aligned and collaborative.
- Approve product write-offs in warehouses (like expired items), in coordination with other teams.
- Respond to special inventory or delivery needs from commercial leaders.
- Monitor storage capacity and stock levels in all locations.
- Join weekly planning meetings with managers and regional teams.
- Help make fast decisions about slow-moving or soon-to-expire products.
- Adjust forecasts regularly based on sales trends and high-priority items.
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with the following profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain
- Intermediate English skills (spoken and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel – intermediate), PowerPoint, and Power BI - nice to have
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a proactive and decisive mindset
- Experience resolving conflicts and managing priorities under pressure
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes and special customer requirements
- Experience with developing and tracking KPIs to ensure alignment with business goals
- Innovative mindset focused on improving processes and implementing new solutions
- Flexible to work extended hours if needed
- Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Proficient in using SAP systems
- Strong soft skills: organized, adaptable, proactive, communicative, and reliable with strong follow-up abilities
