The Professional Services Senior Business Analyst is a key role designed to maximize the performance of our Professional Services team. You will analyze our current operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to our processes, tools, and reporting to drive efficiency and consistency.

You'll Get To::

  • Supervise the global Statement of Work (SOW) queue, ensuring that all requests are processed in line with established SLAs and company policies. Lead coordination with other departments to resolve issues, as well as the development of standardized SOW templates to streamline the order-to-cash process.
  • Oversee Professional Services and Support queues as well as audit reviews
  • Design and manage project governance processes to ensure accurate tracking of deliverables, timelines, budgets, and overall project status.
  • Leverage business systems including SFDC and Certinia to deliver reliable, scalable and efficient solutions to support services objectives
  • Manage all approved utilization data submitted by the Global Services and Engineering organizations, in partnership with the Resource Management Teams, with responsibility for investigating and resolving any discrepancies or project-related exceptions.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure timely month-end invoicing activities and reconciliation
  • Work with leaders to ensure and improve key policies, processes, and methodologies contributing to the success of the BlackLine customer team are developed, implemented and adhered
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) with Certinia; train new hires and support existing Services team; SME in other software tools as applicable
  • Develop and manage key performance metrics, dashboards, and analytics for the Services team. Analyze and present on findings with the mindset of delivering actionable insights, improving team performance and efficiency.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve team performance by gathering requirements, mapping current workflows, and recommending enhancements to processes and metrics.
  • Other duties or projects such as ad-hoc reports, financial and capacity models, implementing tools/systems and analysis for monthly and annual forecast adherence models.

What You'll Bring::

  • Years of Experience in Related Field: 3+ years of work experience

Education: BS/BA degree

Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong knowledge of Excel (Lookups, pivot tables, charts)
  • Project management tools
  • Salesforce

  • Displays the ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion on managing important processes and execution in a global audience
  • Strong team player, results driven, metrics-driven and thrives in fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving, organizational and time management skill

  • Implement management policies or operating practices focusing on large scale impacts to corporate success and efficiencies.
  • Ability to work with a variety of internal stakeholders including Customer Team, Sales, Finance, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Work effectively across disciplines and organizations to prioritize tasks and make decisions
