The ideal candidate will have at least 4-5 years of experience in automotive quality roles, with deep knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA). Advanced English communication skills are essential for both internal and customer-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead quality assurance efforts for metalmechanical manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits and support third-party audits, including readiness and follow-up.
  • Apply and maintain Core Quality Tools across projects and production: APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and FMEA.
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues.
  • Interact directly with automotive OEMs or Tier 1 customers on quality concerns and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop quality documentation including control plans, inspection plans, and quality reports.
  • Support supplier quality initiatives related to metal components and assemblies.

Perfil buscado

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Materials, or related field).
  • 4-5+ years of experience in automotive quality roles, with a focus on metalmechanical processes (stamping, welding, machining, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 process audits, and automotive quality standards.
  • Proficient in Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA.
  • Advanced level of English (spoken and written).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
  • Certified VDA 6.3 auditor (preferred but not required).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with international customers (OEMs or Tier 1s).
  • Knowledge of GD&T and technical drawings.
  • Exposure to supplier development and audits.
