In your day to day activities, you’ll work with multiple customers, as a consultant and trusted partner in Sandalwood’s areas of expertise of Injury Prevention, Systems Engineering & Systems Integration. We're currently looking for a Plant Engineer to join our growing team of engineering and ergonomics professionals. Details about the role are as follows:

Successful candidates will have the following attributes
 •  The ability to report project status accurately and in timely fashion to manager level management
 •  Strong Negotiation skills to drive timing targets
 •  Working under pressure and time availability
 •  Teamwork, proactive, with sense of urgency & customer service attitude to drive customer satisfaction (internal & external)
 •  Strong communication skills to interact with different level of members within the organization
 •  Organizational and planning skills
 •  Experience in the manufacturing environment

RESPONSIBILITIES
 •  Perform tooling/machine verification
 •  Material development details will be agreed by Leader and Sandalwood for every particular event
 •  Program metrics, utilizing the standard performance metric formats
 •  Compile necessary documentation "Evidence Book"
 •  Following procedures and conduct design review and sign-off
 •  Support the plant safety team to review and approve all ECPL Placards for new and/or modified equipment utilizing the PACT software
 •  Coordinate and track all Protag buyoffs
 •  Complete plant floor buy-offs utilizing the Protag procedure in accordance with the stablished procedures
 •  New equipment installation, follow up and ensure all items are addressed

Requirements
 •  Bachelor or higher degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, or similar
 •  Prior Plant Engineer experience
 •  Experience in Automotive industry company as desired
 •  English language at medium - advanced level
 •  Experience in blocking and energy management practices, installation of machinery.
 •  Minimum 3-year experience in the automotive area
 •  Detailed knowledge of Client processes and the Client Toolsets (Electric, Mechanical, Civil Protection) The specific tasks assigned, individuals’ work priorities, the methodology apply, and the intermediate work products shall be defined by Client

Additional Information
 •  Environment- manufacturing plant floor facilities
 •  May be required to work outside of typical office hours to support client projects
 •  Ability to work independently with little or limited supervision
