The Opportunity
Your Impact
This role is responsible for executing and supporting payroll processes, analyzing data, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with established policies, controls, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The position will also support payroll-related transition initiatives and scope expansion projects, working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
Responsibilities- Execute off-cycle payments resulting from payroll errors or omissions, ensuring proper validation, complete documentation, and alignment with policies and criteria defined by the Sector and Strada (payroll provider).
- Manage overpayment cases, including:
- Performing root cause analysis.
- Supporting accounting booking activities.
- Assisting with offset and recovery processes.
- Managing early return-to-work cases in accordance with established guidelines
- Perform operational controls and validations to prevent discrepancies and overpayments, documenting evidence and any deviations identified. Maintain up-to-date documentation and trackers to ensure traceability and audit readiness for internal and external reviews.
- Analyze and monitor weekly and monthly key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, deviations, and potential operational risks.
- Provide timely follow-up on critical cases and contingencies, escalating issues as appropriate and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive resolution.
- Participate in payroll transition projects and/or scope expansion initiatives, providing operational support, analysis, and documentation as needed.
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?- Experience in payroll operations, or related HR/ data analysis support roles (preferred: payroll experience)
- Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and support remediation activities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Develop KPIs, trackers, and audit related documentation.
