WHAT YOU’LL DO

In this role, you will lead the delivery and implementation of key HR initiatives for South America, Mexico and Costa Rica, including employee relations, engagement, leadership development, talent and performance management, payroll and benefits administration, and broad-based people strategies.
You will achieve this through a direct and consultative partnership with both the HR corporate team and local leadership. As Regional HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing employee experience, improving retention, and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with the company’s core values and processes.

You will drive service excellence and continuous improvement by balancing innovation with effective execution, managing multiple priorities, and analyzing complex data to optimize outcomes. Additionally, you will foster cross-functional relationships, ensure compliance, and adapt quickly to evolving business needs while upholding ethical standards.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic, trusted advisor to leadership, strengthen relationships, guiding performance, and reinforcing company culture while ensuring consistent application of policies and practices.
  • Partner with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to leverage HR programs, tools, and technology, driving effective implementation aligned with business needs.
  • Champion employee engagement, performance management, goal setting, and career development, coaching leaders and employees and supporting clear growth pathways.
  • Manage organizational risk and ensure legal compliance by leading or overseeing complex employee relations matters, investigations, audits, and regulatory adherence in collaboration with HR, leadership, and legal counsel.
  • Oversee compensation planning, promotions, payroll, benefits, and talent acquisition for assigned business units, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company pay practices and development strategies.
  • Lead and develop HR teams, including regional HR staff, recruiting, payroll, and benefits, ensuring consistent execution of corporate initiatives and high-quality service delivery.
  • Drive change management, integration efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline HR operations, reduce risk and cost, evolve culture and enhance employee experience.
  • Analyze and report on HR metrics such as turnover, headcount, engagement, and market data to inform decision-making and proactively address workforce trends.
  • Educate managers and employees on HR policies, programs, processes, and tools, while promoting enterprise-wide culture, belonging, and values.
  • Conduct regular audits of the workplace, stay updated on relevant issues and regulations, and analyze HR related data to advise management.
  • Perform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the team and organization, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectives.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • 10+ years in progressive HR Management experience.
  • At least 7 years’ experience with a multinational Fortune 500 Company preferred.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment
  • Previous managerial/supervisory experience, with demonstrable achievements in building talent, process, and systems capability.
  • Evidence of strong change managements skills
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, Provincial, and Local regulations, as well as Company and customer/client policies and procedures
  • Proficient analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
